1. So what’s your secret, how do you make these things taste so darn good?
The secret is…there is no secret! It all boils down to good old-fashioned hard work and TLC. We ensure that all of our products are of the very highest quality and we don’t cut corners. We want to make sure that you get the tastiest, healthiest and freshest kale chip possible. What makes us get up and go every morning is knowing that we create snacks that make you healthier from the inside out.
2. How do you pack your kale chips so full of vitamins and flavor?
Each of our kale leaves are slathered in flavor packed seasonings and then individually placed into our dehydrators, which run overnight. The dehydrators are set to a low 125 degrees, a temperature not attainable on most conventional ovens.
By using a dehydrator, the kale leaves retain and enhance its natural flavor without the use of any additives or preservatives. Most importantly, it helps us keep all the vitamins and minerals packed into our snacks, making them a treat that you can feel good about eating.
3. Why kale?
Because dehydrating a tuna casserole would be nowhere near as tasty or nutritionally packed with vitamins…
Kale is one of the most nutritionally dense vegetables that exist. Loaded with fiber and vitamins K, A and C plus a host of other equally good for you vitamins, kale is known to have powerful antioxidant properties, to be a cancer fighter and provide anti-inflammatory health benefits. Simply put, it’s the swiss army knife of the cruciferous vegetable family!
4. How else can I enjoy these kale chips?
We love to sprinkle them on top of soups and salads; they provide a delicious crunch and flavor profile that will lift your meals to the next level.
For example, take our Double-O Cheese flavor chip, sprinkle it on top of some velvety tomato soup and you’ve got a lunch that you will happily eat every day for the next month! Also try putting kale chips into sandwiches or wraps to give them an extra crunch and kick.
